There will be an additional merit badge event this summer from June 30th - July 2nd. It is focused on public safety and is sponsored by our local scouting district and the Los Alamos Police Department. It looks like a great way to knock out some additional merit badges this summer and learn some important things about public safety. Emergency Preparedness is a required merit badge and would be great to work on. Last year we had scouts completely finish 5 or more merit badges with only a few requirements left to finish the remaining merit badges for up to 7 merit badges!
Below is the registration form. The form must be received by Laura Gonzales no later than June 26th to receive the on-time registration price of $12 for all three days. The price is $15 if paid after June 26th (including the day of the event).
